First Flood!
It rained hard this morning.. not really that long and I was already on my ride when it did, so it shouldn’t have mattered but that short rain caused flooding which in turn caused the heavy traffic!!! Arghh..
The flood was worst in the LRT station in Recto.. It is not just high water there but black, dirty high water! Yuck!!!
It always flood in that area and I don’t know why they put the main terminal there. It is not just the bad drainage that’s the problem there but I’ve been told that many pedicab drivers actually put plastic and other stuff in the drainage to further aggravate the flood so they could get more passengers…ahh the things some people do to earn a living!
Manila is actually a low area prone to flood and the government should really do something about it. Maybe they should consider putting flyovers all over or elevated pathwalks just like in Makati? Just a thought since rainy season is near and that means flood. Don’t want to be walking on floods anymore!
On the plus side though, the rain further lessened the heat. I like that!

Recto... para bang synonymous sa flood. i remember that an inlaw related that his officemate died of leptospirosis because she walked in the flooded streets. katakot... kadiri... hay, ewan! it's just like wishing upon the stars na sana ma solve ito..
thanks for joing the campaign. you should probably insert a <br /> before the word "Logo" so that "Logo" will move to the next line. buti na lang we can do something about this... not like the floods on espana =)
